Singing Rock STEEL 24

The sea and the underwater world - this was the central theme of this year's Singing Rock STEEL. The Open Czech Championship in industrial climbing was held on 8-10 November 2024, traditionally in the training centre for work at heights POLYGON Singing Rock and a climbing gym attached to it, in the industrial part of the town of Kladno (25km from Prague).

178623On the first day, as always, there was an individual competition. This year there were almost 100 competitors from 12 countries, a record number for Steel. Their skills, strength and experience were tested in five disciplines in which they found themselves in a pearl cave, saved octopuses out of nets or cleaned the sea of plastic waste. The second day was a team competition in which 21 teams of three used a rope access to rescue turtle eggs. Again, it was a great spectacle and lots of fun. The event was traditionally attended by old friends, but this year there were also lots of new people. The atmosphere was amazing and already during the competition both competitors and spectators were praising the event. Congratulations again to the winners and thanks to all competitors for their participation. Your performances were awesome! Take care, keep training and see you next year!! πŸ™
