In the mountains, you need to rely… on yourself, on your partner and on your equipment. That's why we've designed ROCKALP, the durable mountaineering backpack for demanding conditions and terrain. Its weight and volume variability, sophisticated features and full back system make it the ideal companion for single and multi-day climbing adventures in the mountains. You'll love this pack because it was designed by climbers for climbers.

  • it is made of durable and lightweight Robic ripstop nylon fabric with PU coating on the inside and outside; this double treatment gives the backpack higher abrasion and water resistance
  • bottom is made of very durable nylon fabric, so you don't have to worry about putting the pack on even the roughest granite
  • conical shape of the pack ensures that it won't get in the way of your access to the gear on the harness or the chalk bag when climbing
  • removable compression straps tighten the volume of the backpack according to your needs; they are also used to hold skis (A-frame), a sleeping mat or other equipment
  • side daisy chains can be used for attaching carabiners or quickdraws
  • front daisy chains are used for attaching helmets, crampons or other equipment; the top loops in combination with the plastic pins on the elastic cords serve for attaching ice axes or trekking poles
  • helmet net is included in the backpack
  • sophisticated back system with thermo-moulded 3D padding made of non-absorbent EVA foam has cross ribs under the cover fabric which ensure effective ventilation
  • inner back foam padding is removable; improves comfort when wearing the pack and can be used as an insulating pad in the bivouac when removed
  • smooth surface of the back system makes it easy to clean it of snow and other dirt
  • anatomically shaped waist belt can be completely removed or just remove the padding to create a simple strap waist belt for lightweight style
  • while keeping the waist belt, you'll appreciate the gear loop and mesh pocket for small items you want to keep handy
  • sternum strap is adjustable in length and height and also removable
  • ergonomically shaped shoulder straps have absorbent, sweat-wicking material on the inside
  • load lifter straps stabilise the load close to your body and allow you to tune weight distribution
  • durable woven loop allows you to easily handle the pack
  • volume of the backpack is increased by the removable lid with an external spacious pocket and an internal pocket for keys and small items; both pockets are zippered
  • under the lid there is a strap for attaching a rope or other gear
  • when the lid is removed, the entry to the main compartment is covered by a flap that you roll out of a pocket above the shoulder straps; the ideal solution for lightweight style
  • flap also can hold a rope or clothes that won't fit in the pack
  • on the flap there is a quickly accessible external zip pocket, so you will always have your topo, phone or snack at hand
  • zippered interior pocket in the main compartment stores your wallet or other valuables
