IKAR HAS is a rescue device combining the function of a fall arrestor and an automatic lowering mechanism, designed for workers at heights where rescue by a third person is not possible or an escape descent is necessary.

  • lightweight aluminum housing with galvanized steel cable
  • the device functions as a standard fall arrest device but automatically lowers the user down at controlled speeds of approximately 0.7 m/s when the centrifugal clutch is activated
  • a fall indicator clutch indicates that the device has been used in a controlled descent and requires a professional inspection by the authorised person
  • allows safe escape from the danger zone, for example in the event of a fire or explosion risk. Simply jump into the device to ensure safe lowering
  • during operation, the user is able to move freely within the range of the device without fighting against braking resistance, minimising brake wear
